Yorkshire Gate Safety

Our History

Our engineers have been involved with undertaking maintenance works to automated gates for some years.

This work also involved repair to automated gates for commercial and domestic properties

.In 2014 No Entry Security Ltd was started and has grown in size,

As No Entry Security grew  the work it carried out became more involved with Automated Gates.

In 2017 No Entry Security Became No Entry Fire and Security Ltd and we became more involved in installing  automated gates for domestic and commercial customers.

Our fault rectification work has grown and with this we became registered Gate Safe Installers.

We install, repair and carry out safety checks on all automated gates and barriers. We carry out force pressure testing on all automated gates and barriers and we can issue certificates for gates and barriers once a safety and force test has been carry out successfully.

We now maintain automated gates for a number of schools , factories and domestic customers through out the region.

All automated gates for Schools should be maintained every six months, potentially more if the gates are subject to very high usage.

The maintenance check should be undertaken by a Gate Safe Aware installer, who is trained to understand the risks that need to be taken into consideration to deliver a safe and legally compliant gate.

A full maintenance review will not only take into consideration the wear and tear on the gate, its smooth operation and the continued efficacy of all safety features, it should also include a full risk assessment to re-evaluate the physical setting and requirements of the gate as these may have changed since its original installation.
Following reports of a spate of accidents involving manual gates, Gate Safe is also encouraging schools to use the holiday period to check the safety of any manual gates in operation within the school grounds.
